I envision some inexperienced guy sawing off their fingers, trying to rip boards like this… given the danger-factor, I’d recommend most people just buy some cheap 2″x2″ posts at the hardware store – ripping boards can be incredibly dangerous, even for experienced people. The cost of the posts might seem quite high, after your fingers are gone!
