If you do have rabbits, continue on and build a fence to them out.

Surround your entire garden with mesh fencing at least two to three feet high. Make sure this mesh goes at least six inches below the ground as well. At the top of your fence, bend the mesh outward to prevent rabbits from climbing over your fence.

A fence like this should only cost a few dollars and an hour of your time to make. It will be worth it when your garden stays happy and healthy this year. Remember to check your fence every now and then for signs of damage. Some rabbits are just persistent!
